Rooming Arrangements You will be assigned to rooms based on the times you compete during the conference We will try our best to keep team members together 4 competitors to a room No boys in girl rooms and vice versa

Forms, Money, Registration Stay posted on both the chapter Remind and the States remind You will have to complete many forms and waivers Information on money and payment dates will come very soon Check the chapter website often

What to Expect Day 1: Arrival (Thursday) 4 hour drive to Orlando Waiting a long time to get rooms ready Orientations and Round 1 competition Opening Ceremony Introduction of State Officers and Advisor The HOSA Cheer Motivational Speaker(s)… Round 1 Results posted at midnight

What to Expect Day 3: HOSA Day! (Saturday) Emergency Preparedness: Round 2 Other Round 2 Events Fun times at a surprise location in Orlando! THE AWARDS CEREMONY! Results for Round 2 and Testing-Only events Show Florida that TERRA’s the best chapter Find out if you’re attending ILC 2016

What to Expect Day 4: Departure (Sunday) Wake up very early! 4 hour bus ride back to Miami You’ll be back in Miami by 1 PM A full, detailed agenda of competition times, etc. by Florida HOSA can be found on our website www.terrahosa.weebly.comwww.terrahosa.weebly.com

Our 2016 Strategy We are #goingforthegold! Try your hardest and help TERRA HOSA break a record for most awards ever at SLC! Get top 3 in Florida, and you’ll move on to Internationals!

The Barbara James Service Award This is a recognition event which you can participate in (in addition to your main competition) Minimum of 100 health-related service hours since 6/1/2015 You can win MEDALS for this! Bronze:100-174.9 hours Silver: 175-249.9 hours Gold: 250+ hours Let us know if you are interested so we can help you log your hours! SRI Students: all of your hours are applicable!

Start Studying! The competition is MUCH tougher at the state level; only 10-25% of TERRA students attending SLC usually make it to internationals If you need books or anything else, let us know super early Let’s make sure tons of TERRA students get to represent Florida at Nashville, Tennessee!
