RTF Staff Updates Need volunteers for: – Small/Rural Subcommittee – Non-Res Lighting Subcommittee – Heat Pump Water Heater – Measure Life

Staff Updates Measure Economics Guidelines – Two issues that we’d like the RTF to start thinking about Residential Homeowner/Occupant Labor Rates – Are they montetizable? Specifically, should we develop a standard hourly rate for simple installations or O&M procedures commonly performed by the homeowner? » (For now, let’s assume they’re quantifiable and not de minimis) » Examples: Time savings from replacing CFL’s or LED’s versus Incandescents Time spent to replace a HPWH filter Use of avoided electricity and gas costs – is that consistent with the use of retail costs in the remainder of the analysis? – Examples: Retail vs avoided propane costs; retail vs avoided capital costs

RTF Staff Updates RTF Operations Subcommittee (1/30/2012) – RTF Bylaws and Charter review status update – Reviewed BPA inquiry on heating and cooling zone appropriateness for commercial – Decided on review process and schedule for Agriculture VFD proposal from BPA – Discussed the process to bring measures to RTF for approval (staff to review process and develop petition format)

RTF Staff Updates NEEP EM&V Forum Request – Need RTF reviewers to serve on a peer review forum for end-use data collection protocols. See Charlie for more information.

RTF Staff Updates RTF Policy Advisory Committee – RTF Bylaws and Charter comments received – Staff completing response to comments RTF Staff Position – 14 applications – Council staff review and interviews – Operations subcommittee input

RTF Staff Updates Statements of work under development – ELCAP Data updated to modern database – 208 RTF End Use Load Shapes to 8,760 – ProCost manual and updates – UES Measure Reviews – 40 Measures Process: – Staff develop summary – Council develops SOW and RFP – Operations Subcommittee and others review – Publish RFP’s by February 24

UES Measure Review Five recommendations reviewed by RTF Staff Schedule is: – Post Recommendations Memos on Web – Present summary of all reviews in March – RTF reviews summary and detail recommendations – RTF provides additional data sources as indicated – Decide on status of measures in April

RTF Staff Updates Business Case for End Use Load Study – Committee reviewed 7 proposals – Met 25 January and 6 February – KEMA Selected Lighting Standard Protocol – Committee reviewed 6 proposals – Met 1 February and 6 February – ERS Selected
