Strategic Objectives Achieve higher level of compliance to laws, circulars and other statutes on good governance and disaster preparedness required of LGUs. (Legal Objective) Move people from passive concern to active and direct involvement in good governance and disaster readiness programs in their localities. (Behavioral/Attitudinal Objective) Showcase DILG achievements vis-à-vis 20 years of LGC, and LGUs’ best practices in good governance and disaster readiness. Will be utilized as Communication Tool Will serve as symbolic representation of NG/DILG bringing much-needed support to LGUs Dressed up ala-Transformer with attractive sticker tarp and PA system Loaded with IEC materials and volunteers Department of the Interior and Local Government DILG Bus

Site Selection Criteria for selecting destination Preferably, regional center Presence of counterparts/partners Major DILG activity (PCF, LGSP-LED, Full Disclosure, etc.) – logical reason Presence of regional media corps Most attractive for Manila-based (national) media to cover – communication point-of-view Sound political environment Security situation is normal Department of the Interior and Local Government
