Directions: Slide 2: Print on colored paper. The number of pages printed will depend on how many “accordion” pages are needed. Fold each page in half along center fold line. Fold the end tab in the opposite direction. Form an accordion fold by gluing the straight edge of one part into the valley of the other sheet’s tab. Continue gluing accordion pages as needed. Slide 3: Type text in the upper box and paste graphics in the bottom box or print for students to draw their own pictures and write their own text. To enter text in a box, click on the border of the box to select it and begin typing. Glue the boxes on the appropriate accordion pages. Text boxes and graphics may be glued to one or both sides of the accordion. Duplicate Slide 3 as needed. To duplicate a slide, select Duplicate Slide from the Insert menu. To change these settings, right- click on the box, choose Format Text Box, click the Text Box tab and select a different setting.
