2. We live in Poland. Our school is in Pigża (it is 20 kilometres from Toruń). Pigża is a small village but the most interesting city is Toruń– a town where Nicolas Copernicus was born. Toruń is a large, historical and university city on the central-north part of Poland, with a population of over 2 hundred thousand people. Toruń’s a lovely town that spreads along the Vistula River. Toruń has got Gothic churches and a Town Hall in the middle of the Old Market Square. Toruń is famous for the Gothic historical buildings and Nicolas Copernicus – the astronomer. Every year a lot of people come to Toruń to visit Copernicus Museum and remains of the Teutonic Knights Castle. For me it is the most beautiful city.
