2. Uploading Web Page  It would be meaningful to share your web page with the rest of the net user.  Thus, we have to upload the web page to the web server to let other browsers to visit.

3. Internet Protocol Address  Why your browser can search the web page from web server?  When the web server connects to the internet, it provides the internet an IP address.  This address identifies the web server from the other computers on the internet.  you can check your IP address by clicking here you can check your IP address by clicking here

4. Web Page Services  Most of the ISP (Internet Service Provider) provides charged web page storage services.  Some schools may also offer web server for their students to upload information.  No matter what type you choose, you have to communicate with the web server via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) for web page uploading.

5. Free Web Site Service  There are many web server service providers provide free of charge web site service, like Taconet ( www.taconet.com.tw ), Tripod ( www.tripod.com ). www.taconet.com.tw www.tripod.com  The first step to do is to register an account through online registration.

6. Account Confirmation  After 1 or 2 days of registration, you will receive an e-mail of confirmation.  It contains your account information, the uploading information (host address) and your URL address.  Example : the host address of Taconet is just the same as its URL: www.taconet.com.tw www.taconet.com.tw

7. Uploading Information  The uploading information includes 3 parts:  Host address  Login name  Password  The uploading information is very important when you use FTP to communicate with the web server
