August 27, 2014 Objective: To review classroom procedures and policies. Warm-up: –What do you think you will learn about in Earth Science?

Classroom Procedures: Bathroom/Drink If you need to use the restroom you may do so without raising your hand and asking permission. Try to avoid doing this during direct instruction. –Place your agenda book on your desk and open to the back. Fill out the time that you are leaving and leave it open on your desk. Return as quickly as possible. If it is an EMERGENCY just go!!!

Classroom Procedures: Binder Set-up You do not need a separate binder for Science class. Please keep a section in your binder specifically for Science. I ask that you have these tabs: –Classwork/Homework –Assessments –A Composition Notebook for warm-up and notes *We will be utilizing Microsoft OneNote when you receive your Chromebooks.

Safety Discuss what your thoughts of Lab Safety are with a partner. Write down at least 5 “rules” for lab safety. Be prepared to share.
