2 The Cid In history it is known that the Cid’s real name is Rodrigo. The Cid a.k.a Rodrigo is told to be the main hero of Spain for the Middle age periods. He is known as the Campeador which means “Champion” in their time period. If he wasn’t called The Cid, Rodrigo or Campeador, he was called the Mid Evil times Lord.

3 Edward the Black Prince Edward was one of the most famous warriors of the middle age time periods. He got his name the Black Prince because when he went to fight in battle he always wore black armor. Edward is also known as Edward the fourth. He is the son of Edward the third, who reigned over England from (1327- 1377). Edward the Black Prince is also the son of his sister. He was sixteen years old when he took full command of the father’s army. Edward was one of the most famous warriors of the middle age time periods. 4 Fredrick Barbarossa Fredrick Barbarossa is the most famous German Emperor to rule. He got his name from his beard so they called him Barbarossa or Red-Beard. Fredrick made Germany a united nation for the first time. Barbarossa was able to get the provinces of Germany at peace with one another. One of the last things he did before he died was that he asked the provinces to work together for the good of the Empire of Germany. Fredrick Barbarossa is the most famous German Emperor to rule. 5 Henry the Second Henry the Second ruled from (1154 -1189). After he died his sons began to rule ruled from (1189 - 1216). 6 Henry the Fifth Henry the fifth reigned from (1413- 1422). It is said that perhaps King Henry the Fifth was the greatest king of them all. The people of the middle age times liked him because he was handsome, brave and overall he had conquered France. After his father’s death he said “That the days of wilderness are all over.” After Henry’s father had died he had advised everyone to lead and live their life in a better way. 7 William the Conqueror He was the king from (1066- 1087) After the death of Edward the Confessor the throne of England was claimed by William, Duke of Normandy.
