3. Chris paternal grandfather, Peter, owned and operated a creamery. In 1975, after earning his M.F.A (Master Degree in Fine Arts) degree at R.I.S.D, Chris set up a sculptor studio in Providence, Rhode Island. Chris first exhibited his first sculpture in N.Y.C. in 1977 at the Alan Stone Gallery.
