Trusting Jesus so you can experience life change

thought audit

Romans 12:2: “Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you
6
think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
7
Have you come to that point in your life that you believe that the Word of God is the truth about life?
8
Have you come to the point that you base your life on it?
9
Intentional life change
10
Hebrews 11:6- “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come
11
to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”

believe that God exists
15
He rewards those who sincerely seek him.”
16
Ephesians 6:16 “In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can
17
extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
18
Here are five powerful statements Beth Moore gives us based on this verse:
19
God is who He says He is.
20
God can do what He says He can do.
21
In Christ I am who God says I am.
22
I can do all things through Christ.
23
God's word and Spirit are alive and active in me.
24
So how do I go from saying that He can fulfill all His promises to trusting that He can fulfill all His promises in MY life?
25
Let’s take a trust test today.
26
“Holy Spirit, I give you 100% control of my life. I will do whatever You want me to do, whenever You want me to do it, wherever You
27
want me to go to do it and however You want me to do it.”
28
Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord, with all your heart. Do not lean unto your own understanding, but in all your ways
29
acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.”
30
Trusting God and not ourselves
31
How much of your life is God in charge?
32
A practical atheist is a person who lives like an atheist, although they profess Christ.
33
Why not open up your mind and your heart to the possibility that your life could be much better if God was in control?
34
Hasn’t Jesus proven Himself absolutely trustworthy?
35
Ed McCulley “I am taking the Lord at His word and I am trusting Him to prove His word. It is kind of
36
like putting all your eggs in one basket. But we have already put our trust in him for salvation, so why not as far as our life is concerned?”
