3. Some Are “Unready”  Hearing truth makes demands – Will feel guilty & must repent Bereans were not gullible – Used right standard – scriptures – Many use other standards Majority Personal feelings

4. Must Be Ready To: Face opposition & persecution – 1 Peter 3:13-17 – How? Sanctify Christ as Lord in heart Give answer for reason for our hope Hebrews 11:1-6 – Requires hearing

5. Must Be Ready To: Preach Gospel – Romans 1:13-15 – Some ready to preach; thus a preacher – Some want to be a preacher; thus preach – Must know & love truth & love souls

6. Must Be Ready To: Die For Ch rist – Acts 21:13 – Not ready to die if not ready to live for Him – If we have nothing worth dying for then we really have nothing worth living for – 2 Timothy 4:6-8 – Can’t finish if don’t begin

7. What Must I Do To Be Saved?  Hear the gospel (Romans 10:17)  Believe Jesus is Christ (Acts 8:37)  Repent of my sins (Acts 17:30)  Confess my faith in Jesus (Matthew 10:32)  Baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38)  Faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10)
