6. What to do in Piazza San Marco… Eat! There are plenty of restaurants and vendors. Gelato is always a tourist favorite. Shop! This is the best place to buy a mask for Carnival! Take a break! If you have been walking for a while, Saint Marc’s Square is a great place to take a rest. Listen! There are always people playing instruments outside Doge’s Palace.

7. Leaving Venice… When you are leaving Venice, make sure you look back and look at the wonderful view! You won’t believe your eyes!
