A.3 days needed to save Rahab. 1.Time to mobilize the troops. III.JOSHUA 3:3 A.2 million people waiting and what is the instruction?

1.Follow the Ark! a) Many applications to Jesus! b) Further instruction. IV.JOSHUA 3:4 A.First ark, a place of safety for Noah!

1.Guide them to victory 2.They did not know “which way to go”! a) To stay a thousand yards away! (1) Could victory be that simple? (2) Live of faith going where He goes?

V.JOSHUA 3:5-6 A.Ark ahead of the people 1.Cannot see “The Ark” WE WILL GET LOST! a) 1,000 yard rule good for today. b) Christian life like a long extension cord.

c) 1,000 feet we are still “connected”! 2.Good “rule” for all spiritual leaders: a) Don’t get ahead of people you’re leading! b) Make sure they are still in sight! (1) Promise Land IS THE GOAL.

VI.JOSHUA 3:7-13 A.2 things Priests were instructed to do. 1.Stand still in the Jordan. 2.Priests to rest in the Jordan.

a) Instructions to the priests! (1) Spiritual life must PRECEED everything. (2) Will give meaning to rest of life. (3) Priest to “stand still” in the Jordan! (a) If we give the Lord chance to work!

(4) Had to get in the water. (a) Wasn’t because of their “Nike’s”! (i) MUST STAY CONNECTED! VII.JOSHUA 3:14-16

A.WHERE THEY NEEDED TO BE “Opposite Jericho!” 1.That’s what happens when we follow the Ark! 2.End up were we need to be. VIII.CONCLUSION

A.JOSHUA 3:17 1.Cannot get to life of faith without eyes on Jesus! a) Crossing the Jordan now seemed so easy! (1) Isaiah 43:2 (2) With God all things are possible."
