What is New Year? Each year is 12 months long January is the start of a new calendar year and the date changes We welcome in the New Year with celebrations and fireworks

Now it’s 2016 At midnight on 31 st December the date changed to the 1 st of January and we started a New Year 2015 is over and now the year is 2016

New Year Resolutions A resolution is something we want to change or start in the New Year Resolutions can be anything; to get fit doing more sport or exercise, keep our room tidy up or be kind to our friends

What is your resolution? It is important to want to make a “new start” but we don’t have to make changes on January 1 st …..we can change anytime we want to!
