1 Using Text in Microsoft Paint Presented by: Divya Desai Robert Weiblen and James Pallikal 10 May 2005

2 Introduction Using Paint for text is very useful when you need text in the form of a picture, usually in a website or other design project. This process contains instructions on using the program to create and edit pictures with text. This procedure requires a Windows computer with Microsoft Paint installed. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint or go to Start > Run > and type “mspaint” to start the program. Then you can begin your text in MS Paint endeavor.

6 Left-click on the canvas and drag the pointer diagonally. – This will set up the required text frame where the text will go. Pick the desired options for font, color and text size from the Text Toolbar. – If the text tool bar is not on display, click on the View menu at the top of the screen and then select Text Toolbar.
