Objectives - ABCCC 1. Cognitive - After a lesson on preparing for a disaster TSWBAT write down at least 5 things that go into an emergency kit during the last 10/15 minutes of class. 2. Psychomotor - TSWBAT advocate for natural disaster preparedness by explaining the causes (or risks) of various emergencies based on geography, climate, or season to a friend. 3. Affective - TSWBAT feel confident/prepared before during and after a natural disaster and will write 3-5 sentences from the weekend (about a family plan) for homework.

Take out a piece of paper. Label all of the pictures with the appropriate vocabulary word: Drought/extreme heat, Winter storm, thunderstorm, Hurricane 1. Pick two of the Disasters. 2.Describe them 3. What causes them? 4. What can they do?/How can they effect Humans?
