Factors For / Against LIS Professional Development in Nigeria Personal/Individual factors Motivation & Enthusiasm EDUCATOR Not very enthusiastic: Why Job Not practical service oriented ; Recognition, visibility & popularity not exclusively dependent on new competences. Self development is not very consequential PRACTITIONER Very Enthusiastic: Why Expected to Provide Enhanced services; Gain greater competences and recognition( institutional & Among peers).
