Stage Directions: an instruction in the text of a play, especially one indicating the movement, position, or tone of an actor, or the sound effects and lighting. 4. Pernicious: Causing great injury or ruin. 5. Adversary: A person who opposes or fights against another. 6. Augmenting: Increasing; enlarging. 7. Grievance: injustice; complaint. 8.
