Multiplying a decimal by a whole number is like multiplying two whole numbers. You can use estimation to place the decimal point in the product.

Base ten as decimals If we count the largest base ten as a one Then the ROD would be my tenths place The smallest pieces would be Hundredths. So what number would that be ? 1.25 5.21 2.15

Now that you have finished Turn to page 97 in your math text book. Head up your coil note book page. Listen to the teacher as she goes over how to use base ten blocks to multiply. After instructions try question #1 Then we will do #4 the way the you tube video instructed you.
