Fingerprints –3 essential facts 1.Formed during fetal development and remain unchanged 2.Fingerprints are unique 3.Can be classified systematically because of pattern of friction ridges which are also present on fingers, palms, and toes

Fingerprints Three basic patterns –Arches, Loops, and Whorls Three basic patterns can be subdivided into eight types: –Arches Plain, Tented –Loops Ulnar, Radial –Whorls Plain Whorl, Central pocket loop, Double loop, Accidental
