2. The pomelo is the largest of all citrus fruits. They can grow to be as large as a foot in diameter and weigh up to 25 pounds.

7. Pomelo Today pomelos are still a popular treat in Asian cultures, especially during the Chinese New Year. They are a symbol of good fortune and prosperity. Some boil the skins and the leaves of the pomelo to prepare a ceremonial bath to "ritually cleanse a person and repel evil".

8. Pomelo The fruit is rich in vitamin C, beta- carotene, the B vitamins, potassium and fiber. It is generally eaten fresh or juiced. The flesh is also used in salads.
