3 All about the river Amazon The river Amazon is in SOUTH AMERICA and it flows through Guyana, Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, Columbia and Brazil.

4 It also runs through the RAINFORESTS causing it to be the river with the most water flowing down it. Amazon is around 4000 miles in length, making it the 2 ND LONGEST RIVER in the world! During the wettest season Amazon get as wide as 190km, because of that the Amazon is the widest river in the world!

5 Interesting facts about River Amazon The Amazon river owns more than 3000 creatures! It is home to the piranha (a man eating fish) and the catfish! The Amazon produces 20% of the water that runs into the sea! piranha piranha catfish

6 Usage of the river Amazon The river Amazon is used for many things such as: fishing, a drinking source, and a bath for some people! However it’s main use is transporting people along it, this is called transportation corridor.
