Jesus – Born about 2,000 years ago Raised Jewish When he was thirty He became known as a healer and teacher Jesus was followed by 12 apostles & disciples Authorities felt threatened so he was arrested and sentenced to death Jesus was crucified (died) & then believed to be resurrected (came back to life) Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah (sent by God)
