3  A character which has some of the same traits as the main character, but also some differences.  The differences tend to point out a flaw in the main character.

The other actors on stage presumably cannot hear

13  Definition - an event occurs which directly contradicts the expectations of the characters and the audience  Everyone is surprised.  Example  In “A Christmas Carol” Scrooge ends up loving Christmas I hate people who hate Christmas!
