3. If there is one character who shows little respect for the feelings of others, it is Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol written by Charles Dickens. Just examine his behaviors: he insults his nephew, he sends away a boy singing Christmas Carols, he does not want to give Bob Cratchit the day off from work, he refuses to spend Christmas Eve with his nephew’s family, he will not give money to help the poor, and he does not want people to wish him a Merry Christmas! “Bah! Humbug!”
