2. New Password Policies Passwords Must Be Unique. (cannot be reused within 1 year) Minimum Password Length: 6 Maximum Password Length: 12 Minimum Number of Uppercase Characters: 1 Minimum Number of Numeric Characters: 1 Minimum Number of Non-Alphanumeric Characters: 1 abc123 does not meet the criteria, but Abc$123 does A “Did you forget your password” tool has been added. Passwords must be changed every 90 days.

3. “Did you forget your password” tool Your workstation Novell Client will be upgraded - Novell Client 4.91 SP5 for Windows (0.2 or higher) The first time you logon after the update, you will be prompted to set your forgotten password tool Logon like you normally would Click Continue to acknowledge the Acceptable Use Policy

4. “Did you forget your password” tool The Challenge Response Entry Prompt will display Click OK Fill in the User-Defined Question This user set the Challenge Question to “what is your favorite color” This user set the Challenge Response to “green” Click Next

5. “Did you forget your password” tool Now the Administrator Defined Question will display This user set the Challenge Response to “clover” Click Finish Your Challenge Response Data has been updated Click OK The user is successfully logged on AND has successfully set the forgotten password tool

6. When you forget your Novell password Click on the “Did you forget your password?” tool when you cannot remember your Novell password You will be asked if you want to Authenticate using Challenge Response and reset your password Click Yes

7. When you forget your Novell password Question 1 of 2 will be the User Defined Question This user responded “Green” Question 2 of 2 will be the Administrator Defined Question This user responded “Clover”

8. When you forget your Novell password If you answered the questions correctly You will be prompted to enter and retype a new password If your new password meets the Password Policy, you will receive a password successfully changed message. Click OK Logon with your new password

9. When you forget your Novell password & your answers If you answer a question incorrectly You will receive a Forgotten Password Error If you remember the correct answer – try again If you do not know the correct answer - the help desk number is x5110

10. When you forget your Novell password & the password policy If your answers are correct but you enter a password that doesn’t meet the policy, you will receive an error Click OK on the error Click the Policy button to see the password rules Click OK to close the Password Policy Enter a password that follows the rules

11. Changing your Novell Password If you are logged on and just want to change your Novell password, Press Ctrl Alt Delete Choose the Change Password Option Enter your Old Password Enter your New Password Verify your New Password

12. Changing your GroupWise password Logon to GroupWise with the provided password Click on Tools Click on Options The Options box will display Click on Security

13. Changing your GroupWise password Type in your Old password and press enter Type in your new password Confirm your new password Click OK You now have a new GroupWise password

14. Changing your GroupWise password via the webpage Logon to the staff email with the provided GroupWise password Click on Options Type in your old password Type in your new password Confirm your new password
