1. Christmas Jumper Day 11 th December 2015 WOW! You all look amazing!!!

2. Why are we wearing Christmas Jumpers? We are wearing Christmas jumpers because we believe that everyone should enjoy Christmas this year in their own way. By wearing our Christmas jumpers and donating a pound we are supporting three worthwhile charities

3. Which charities will our money go to? Our money will be going to Text Santa. This year they are joining with Save the Children. They are also raising money for MacMillan cancer support and Make a Wish UK.

4. Save the Children Save the Children work in more than 120 countries. They save children’s lives. They fight for their rights. They help them fulfil their potential. One story that they have shared is about a hospital they built in Congo where baby Bernadette was born. Her mother said: “I don’t know what we’d do if we didn’t have this hospital,”

5. MacMillan MacMillan is a charity supporting cancer victims and their families. This year they want to raise as much money as possible – so we are supporting them on Christmas Jumper Day. They believe that no one should suffer cancer alone. So we have decided to help the people suffering, have an enjoyable Christmas.

6. Make a Wish UK! Make a Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. One example is Lewis, age 7, who was born with a serious heart problem. However, he loves nothing more than spending time watching superheroes defeat villains and has always wanted to star in his own superhero film! So Make-A-Wish made his wish a reality!

9. Dear Lord, Thank you that you loved the world. Thank you that you love me. Thank you for those who love me. Please help me to show your love to everyone I meet. That I may shine like Jesus, for those in need. Amen
