3. Table Problem  Provide problems that include computing answers from information on a table. An interesting activity that requires computing percentages and decimals from a table is to give the student baseball standing (for football or basketball standing, depending on the season) from the newspaper with only the won/lost record beside each team. Have the students do the following  1. compute the percentage for each team in the American League East and the National League East.  2. place the American and National League teams in order based on their won/lost records.  Determine how many teams have record over.500  Determine how many percentage points the team in the American League East with the most looses is behind the team with the most wins
