The Aztec Around AD 1325, nomadic people from the north migrated down into the Valley of Mexico During the 1400s, they greatly expanded their territory through conquest and alliances. Aztec religious beliefs dominate life – Practiced human sacrifice (usually prisoners of war) to appease the sun god
