6 How is the SAT Scored? All 5 answer multiple choice correct = 1 point incorrect = -1/4 point blank = 0 point Student-Produced Response correct = 1 point incorrect = 0 point blank = 0 point Essay 2 scorers give score from 1 to 6

11 The EXPERIMENTAL SECTION One of the sections will be a 25 minute MATH, CRITICAL READING, or WRITING section. ETS calls this the “EQUATING SECTION” that allows them to try out new questions and assess their level of difficulty.
