He loved the outdoors and wanted to be an engineer, not the one that works on a train, but the one who designs new inventions.When he was finished with his studies,Mestral took a job in a machine shop of a Swiss engineering company. The burrs that got stuck to his wool hunting and dogs fur were annoying him because of the time it took to remove the burrs.
