O See if they have a mission statement. Are they accomplishing what they set out to do? How are they affecting others? O How has the community changed since they started doing what they do? O In what ways did the community inspire them to do what they do?

9 Example: Streamwood High School O How has SHS changed the community? O Has it created a stronger sense of community than when Streamwood students were going to EHS (before SHS was built)? O Mission Statement: O Our aim is to cultivate a learning community that assures academic success, positive choice, mutual respect, and personal growth for all. O Can you find examples to show SHS accomplishes this mission? O Argument: SHS creates a sense of community for students that helps them to grow personally and academically.
