Stave Four is about what shall happen in the future if Scrooge doesn’t change. As in the previous staves Scrooge is shown his mistakes and what kind of attitude he should have towards his life. In this stave Scrooge goes into his future and his miserable future that is to come

This ghost is also known as The Ghost of Christmas Future. This is the last of the three ghosts. He is the most fearsome out of all of the three spirits(This is what Scrooge thinks and also expresses). The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come wears a long black robe with a hood that conceals its head. Within the darkness of the hood, Scrooge cannot even see a hint of the ghost's face.

Scrooge sees : A few business men talking about a man dying and that they might go to the funeral. Some poor women are selling items from the dead mans house A couple who owed Scrooge money are happy that they don’t have to pay the money. The Crachit family very sad due to Tiny Tim’s death. Scrooge is eager to find out about who died and finds out the horrible truth that the dead man is Scrooge

Scrooge is shocked by the fact that so many people are relieved after Scrooge’s death. After this he understands that if he wouldn’t have been a loner and a misery he would have a merry life. He regrets the fact that he didn’t reliase this before. When the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come takes Scrooge to the graveyard that’s when he decides he needs to change.

The main message for the book is :Money does not buy happiness, you should let your heart be open do not close it like Scrooge did.

One moment in the book that was good and descriptive was when Scrooge was shown his gravestone. This tells Scrooge that he has got to change.Later he admits that he will change.
