Victorian Health Care Debate REPORTER : TOM
2
You know how health care people are always asking for more money, it ’ s all over the news. This report outlines why we shouldn ’ t give more money to health care.
3
To start this off I ’ m going to talk about how much we already spend on health care. $ 128 BILLION A YEAR !!! Crazy right ? That ’ s nearly half of the governments funds. I think politicians don ’ t handle the money correctly. If they hired a professional accountant to handle the money. It might be more useful.

You ' re probably thinking “Why don ’ t we take it out of our tax or education. ” If we do that, what will happen to the future of Melbourne ? I ’ ll start on tax, if we get taxed more a lot of people can ’ t already afford a normal house and apartments can sell for $ 1,000,000. The cost of living is getting more expensive. We ’ re already the 6 th most expensive city in the world, and we don ’ t want heaps of homeless people or more poverty.
5
If we take the funding out of education. Education will become more expensive and then people wouldn ' t be able to afford education. Then in 12 years time no one will be able to be a doctor because they won ’ t be qualified enough. So the population would take a sky dive.
6
So in my opinion we don ’ t actually have enough money to give more to health care. Society would be no more. The government should use the funds it has in a better way. Just have a think about it. Should we give more money to health care ?
