4. ‘Hidden help’ In 1999, sales of home help papers for Key Stage tests hit best sellers list for the first time. Maths was the biggest worry for parents. MORI poll: 47% of parents would like more practical help in order to help their child with their maths.

9. How can these difficulties be overcome? The venue. Away from memories and pressure of schools Relaxed atmosphere – cake and coffee! Drip-feeding: –Positive relationship with child –Mathematical resilience –Respect for the child –Hope Relationships with the other parents grow
