3. 3 Parallel Line Construction 2 AB C Pair of Compasses Construct a line Parallel to AB through C using a Pair of Compasses. A B C D CAB Draw a line from C to the line AB. AC AB A Draw an arc from the line AC to the line AB centred at A. C Redraw the arc at C. E DE Set the compasses to the length DE. F F Use this length to draw an arc at F. G CG Draw the parallel line through C and G.Add arrows to show they are parallel. CG || AB
