14. As much as Henry loved these things…they were not enough.

20. Henry met his first wife at a wedding… his brother’s. She was the bride. Her name was Catherine.

21. This is Catherine of Aragon

22. This is Arthur, Henry’s brother he was sickly all the time..

23. A few months after the wedding, Arthur died Leaving Catherine a widow

24. For Henry, this meant that he would inherit the throne and marry Arthur’s widow.

25. He was devastated..

26. Henry and Catherine were married June 11, 1509. He was 18 years old. She was 23.

29. Catherine gave birth to a daughter…. Something went wrong
