7.  Use this time to work on planning your international trip.  Tips:  For flight information use expedia.com, or orbitz.com, or other travel websites.  The Travelocity gnome is paying for your flight, but you should still try to find the cheapest flight within reason. For example, don’t take a super cheap flight if it will cause you to lose three days out of your trip in unnecessary travel time.  If you have friends or relatives in foreign countries, you may stay with them.  Remember to look for youth hostels or eco-tourism opportunities.
