2. Have you looked at the sky lately? Do all clouds look the same? Lets see!

3. Cumulus Clouds What do they look like?  White  Puffy clouds  Floating cotton balls! What can they tell us?  “Fair-weather clouds".  Can grow upward and develop into giant cumulonimbus clouds, which are thunderstorm clouds.

4. Cirrus Clouds What do they look like?  wispy clouds  Look like long streamers What can they tell us?  Predict fair to pleasant weather  Cloud movement can tell you from which direction weather is approaching  Indicate change in the weather

5. Stratus Clouds What do they look like?  Looks like a blanket of grayish clouds  often cover the entire sky  resemble fog that doesn't reach the ground. What can they tell us?  Rain may be on the way  Light mist or drizzle
