Scope of the Committee The purpose is to analyze supplementary functionalities for civil and professional applications –LMR applications (e.g. Public safety, company & transportation) –Airport communications systems, surveillance, backhauling The Committee is focused on the following items –High resilience and robustness –Increased reliability level –High security levels –Spectrum issues –Very high speed mobility –Dynamic group management Increase the market share for 802.16 globally
