1. 1700’s- 1800’s

2.  The Industrial Revolution started because people were trying to find way to increase production of food and other goods.

3.  The Industrial Revolution Started in England and Europe then eventually made its way to America.

4.  The Revolution started the use of child labor. Children would usually mine and/or gather coal for distribution.

5.  Steam Power was invented. This had to do with coal and petroleum. It was later used in steam engines.  Revolutionized maufacturing.

6.  The first of many breakthroughs of the revolution took place in the manufacturing of textiles and cloth.

7.  Cotton mills were in the south and textiles were normally in the northeast region.

8.  The Revolution lasted roughly 124 years. After the Industrial Revolution things were a lot cheaper because of mass production.  It changed the way people live to the technology they had.

9.  Some inventions were the cotton gin, railroads, and steam engines.
