Hideki Tojo Tojo became leader of militarists in Japan. Japan joined Germany and Italy in the Axis Powers. He believed USA to be lazy and overly materialistic. Believed Japan should take Pacific lands from Europeans

Hideki Tojo Felt he would have to go to war with US to ensure Japanese Empire. November 1948, Tojo was put on trial as war criminal. Found guilty and hanged.

Benito Mussolini Italy- in political and economic crisis, people scared for future Mussolini had support of middle class –they were seeking stability 1922- march on Rome- Victor Emmanuel made him Prime Minister

Benito Mussolini Promised the middle class job stability. He promised to drop the unemployment rate. Promised to rebuild the infrastructure of Italy wanted everyone to live and work ONLY for the state.
