MAJOR ATTRACTIONS  The Four Corners- It is located in Denver, Colorado The Four Corners include the corners of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah  Mesa Verde National Park- It is located in mesa Verde, Colorado today the park protects nearly 5,000 known archeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings.  Rocky Mountain National Park-It is located in Estes Park, Colorado trail Ridge Road – which crests over 12,000 feet including many overlooks to experience the subalpine and alpine worlds – along with over 300 miles of hiking trails, wildflowers, wildlife, starry nights, and fun times.

But artist Len Buckley told The Associated Press he based the design on a photo he took of Longs Peak, the highest point in Rocky Mountain National Park The Rocky mountains is on the Colorado license plate because that is a major attraction in Colorado
