2 Plan Provide portal developers an exemplar use case Need a specific end to end implemented example (data upload - data processing - query - post query analysis) For example, Morphology - FreeSurfer integration into Portal Need to expand surveys for tool usage to ask for more details of relevance to portal developers Portal developers should visit individual sites to learn more about user’s requirements

3 User Requirements More advanced workflows Moving tasks from users/centers to other users/centers Submit sub-jobs to other users Check other users progress Customized workflows Journaling of Processing Steps Being able to edit processing pathway Data history needed for multiple tasks Process new data with same process Troubleshooting Everything similar but one step (e.g. different smoothing kernel)

4 User Requirements Launchable tool suite accessible through portal SRB wrapper for applications Require SRB URL to be able to manipulate SRB files directly Utility of using local cache (on desktop) to run local apps Statistics Ability to export to/import from statistical packages Incorporation of statistical packages Statistician consultant for project to help with statistical applications in the portal Data mining in addition to standard statistical processing
