Asbestos Data Website – Instructions Asbestos Data website: http://asbestos.fs.utoronto.ca/Account/login http://asbestos.fs.utoronto.ca/Account/login Accessible on computer and mobile devices (smart phone, tablets, etc.) Contains information on the location of asbestos on the St. George Campus: – Full asbestos survey reports – Summary tables for each building and a master summary table for the campus – Designated Substance Report (DSR) Summaries – DSRs for non-asbestos work – Fire proofing floor plans (floods, work above ceiling) UTM/UTSc staff should contact local Facilities or EHS group 1

Home tab 3 “Contains ACM Fireproofing” note in applicable buildings Select floor and room or type in room number

Home tab – Search button results 4 Results appear at the bottom of the change Codes in the results are defined in the drop down menus

Asbestos Data – Search button results 5 NF – non- friable F - Friable N – non-asbestos (sampling) C - confirmed asbestos (sampling) S – Suspect asbestos (treat as if asbestos) I – in accessible (no info, speak to supervisor to sample or treat as asbestos)

Documents tab 6 Survey report - detailed information on building materials in the selected building Fire proofing plans – provides colour coded floor plans showing the location of asbestos- containing fire proofing ACM or DSR Summaries – 1-page summary of building materials that can contain asbestos in the selected building Master building summary – overview of all buildings on the St. George Campus.

Asbestos Data – ACM Summary/DSR Summary Provides building overview, especially materials that are pervasive If interested in a particular room, use the Asbestos Data website to search Inform of nearby asbestos in non- asbestos jobs (inadvertent disturbance) Includes other Designated Substances 8
