Bauhaus, was an art school in Germany that combined crafts and the fine arts, and was famous for the approach to design that it publicised and taught. It operated from 1919 to 1933. At that time the German term Bauhaus —literally "house of construction"—was understood as meaning "School of Building". The Bauhaus was first founded by Walter Gropius in Weimar. In spite of its name, and the fact that its founder was an architect, the Bauhaus during the first years of its existence did not have an architecture department. Nonetheless, it was founded with the idea of creating a "total" work of art in which all arts, including architecture, would eventually be brought together. The Bauhaus style later became one of the most influential currents in modern design, Modernist architecture and art, design and architectural education.

Bauhaus inspired furniture tends to revolve around bold, basic colours and curved designs, overall it is a very modern design
5
As you can see from the pictures Bauhaus lighting also fits the modern style theme, most of the lightings shape tends to be circular and has the colour white or some sort of greyscale colour.
6
In 1924 the Bauhaus the Glass work became part of the newly established “experimental laboratory of the Bauhaus”. The main concept of the glass design is very simple, nothing complex and very modern and contemporary.
7
Bauhaus has had a massive impact on how modern furniture and buildings are designed today, from chairs to buildings they way they are shaped and formed will most likely be Bauhaus inspired.
8
The style of Bauhaus art revolves around basic shapes, shadows and designs, the colour scheme of the artwork is that same as the overall theme of Bauhaus in general, just basic bold colours. I have added in various pictures that I think fit the theme of Bauhaus.
9
Here are my first two attempts of designing my first Bauhaus inspired Typography.
10
Generally, Bauhaus buildings have flat roofs, smooth facades, and cubic shapes. Colours are white, grey, beige, or black. The Bauhaus Architecture didn’t have a department in the Bauhaus building, but it was still a main strong factor of the Bauhaus movement, many homes and houses being built were in relation to the Bauhaus design and look, this was because the look was so contemporary and unique more and more people liked the idea. The popular design of the Bauhaus architecture was the floor plans being open, this allows a lot of space, the interior of Bauhaus buildings are quite bare and clear, this is because they are not cluttered to allow for room and clear space.

Bauhaus was first introduced shortly after the war

I am going to create a Bauhaus style Café, within this I will be creating the interior, the furniture right down to the little details such as a saucer or even a mug, I will create a logo for the café and implement this into the Cafés design. The logo will feature throughout the Café via the menu and even the décor. The exterior will be created in Google Sketchup, this is a 3-D visual modelling software.
14
This is a possible banner style that I will be showcasing on my Bauhaus website but I decided to make a cropped and scaled version of the design.
15
Logo Design: For my logo design I wanted to create a folding styled shaped logo design so I used the burn tool in Photoshop and various opacity filter the complete my design. Banner Art Design: For my website banner I have decided to add in the logo I created and just use bold basic colours for the theme.
16
This is a Bauhaus themed website, this has a good colour scheme with the main colours as white and black, the images have a greyscale applied to them, some of the image have a yellow border to make them stand out, I am going to create another website and create it to a similar theme.
17
For my website design I have decided to create a simple style theme and I have done this by only using simple bold colours such as purples, blues and other grey and dark colours.
