Work Out Your Own Salvation By BELIEVING (Rom. 10:17) – God works by Giving word of faith (Rom. 10: 6-17, I Thess. 2:13) – We do the believing (Jn. 8:24) – Saving faith works through obedience (Phil. 2:12, Jms. 2:17, 21-22, Mk. 16:15-16)

Work Out Your Own Salvation By STANDING (Eph. 6:10-18) – God’s Armor gives us the ability to stand (v. 10) – Spiritual armor – Spiritual foe (v. 12) – We put on the armor (God’s blessings through the Gospel) – we withstand in order to stand (v. 13) – We pray (v. 18, Jms. 5:16)

Work Out Your Own Salvation By DOING GOOD (2 Cor. 5:10) – God reveals what is “good” through His “word” (2 Tim. 3:16-17) – We exercise our senses to discern “good” and “evil” (Heb. 2:14) – We are “God’s workmanship” – But we must “work” that which is “good” (Eph. 2:10, Jn. 5:28-29)

Work Out Your Own Salvation By FURTHERING THE GOSPEL (Phil. 2:14-18) – God works in us the will (desire) to do His Good pleasure – His grace (I Cor. 15:10, I Tim. 2:4) – We live as lights in the world (Phil. 2:14-15) – Paul’s glory – Paul’s race (Phil. 2:16) – Is saving others our mutual bond – Our mutual joy (Phil. 2:17-18)? – Are we like Timothy – furthering the Gospel (Phil. 2:20-22)?
