3 My Driving Question How has body art shaped our existence?

4 Thesis Statement Whether it is considered self-mutilation or art, body modifications will continue to grow and change with people and society like it has since its existence began.

5 Interesting Facts? Conclusions? Why, how, and where body art got its start. Body art is not considered a “trend” to most people, but a way of life and one’s culture.

6 My Product? (Plan) Online museum displaying different kinds of hand-drawn work on different varieties of body piercing and extreme body alterations.

7 How? When? (Product) Created virtual museum Used a free website builder Created artwork for the website

8 My Mentor My Mentor is Jessica Johnson, and I chose her because of her expertise in computers and technology. She has helped me quite a bit, and has advised me over the last three weeks as I created my product.

9 Connections? (Between Paper and Product) Give readers/viewers a visual aid Also wanted to add artist flare with my own work Provided a number of body alterations available in the modern world

10 Successes? Challenges? My paper: Because it consumed the majority of my time and effort. My successes definitely came out of my product, which I am actually very satisfied with. I had plenty of support from my peers and teachers, and I thank them for it.

11 Future Plans? Career? I have considered this pathway before as a career, but as of right now, I am still undecided. I think it might be an amazing job for me to become a tattoo artist because of my love for art and design
