Tuesday, December 8 th – 2:40 – 4:30 pm Two Dances: one prepared and one taught that day! Tap audition will be posted on the Weebly prior to audition week Dress comfortably and bring appropriate shoes (Tap shoes for tap audition are a must!) Be prepared to stay for entire time All are encouraged to attend!
14
Three unexcused absences are allowed– no exceptions! This is a commitment—we expect you to be dedicated and to come to rehearsal unless you have a valid excuse (“too much homework” or “you didn’t want to” don’t count!) Though there is no activity fee, all cast members will have to pay a non-returnable costume fee of $10, with the exception of dancers and leads (which may be up to $20)
15
If cast in the show as a lead role, please plan on picking up your script prior to Winter Break. The directors will be conducting grade checks to ensure that you are eligible to participate. Schoolwork should come first! If you miss a rehearsal, it is your responsibility to catch up on what you missed before the next rehearsal. Videos will be posted on the Weebly page.
16
No cellphones! Rehearsals are closed to all non-cast or crew members!
17
Do I have to sing by myself? Can others come watch? Do 8 th graders always get the lead roles? What about double casting? What if I don’t get a callback? Is the show pre-cast? How can I get the role I want? If I don’t get a lead, why should I be in chorus?
