1. Orbit Corrector Magnets MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING 2006: Series delivery to CERN (April 06) Final acceptance by CERN (Magnetic Measurements) (July 06) PRESENT STATUS: All the magnets are commissioned. CONCLUSION: Task is finished. An overall delay of 9 months, but still on time for CTF3.

2. Septa Magnets MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING 2006: Magnets delivery to CERN (July 06) Interlock control system delivery to CERN (Aug 06) Magnetic and thermal measurements are OK (Sept 06) Magnets are installed (Oct 06) Injection septa are successfully operated during the short run (Dec 06) Water leaks are detected in the blade of the extraction thin septum. They are being repaired (ongoing). SHORT TERM ACTIVITIES: Reparation of the leaks of the thin septa blades. CONCLUSION: Task is about to finish. 3. Extraction kicker MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING 2006: Technical design report (May 06) Detailed calculation (June 06) Manufacturing drawings (Sept 06) Manufacturing (Dec 06) SHORT TERM ACTIVITIES: The kicker prototype will be tested at Frascati by mid- February. A tail clipper design could soon start after confirmation from CERN. CONCLUSION: First kicker prototype is ready to be tested at Frascati. 4. Pulsed power supply MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING 2006: Kick-off meeting of the collaboration (CERN & CIEMAT & CEDEX & Greenpower) for the design and construction of a pulsed power supply based on stacked semiconductors (May 06) Detailed schedule and planning to share the tasks between the partners (Nov 06) SHORT TERM ACTIVITIES: CERN will produce a first prototype card for the pulsed power supply by February. CIEMAT could help with the circuit simulation using Pspice or Simulink. Greenpower will produce and test a number of cards based on CERN’s design by May. 5. TBL Quadrupole Movers (I) MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING 2006: Conceptual design report (Sept 06). Quadrupole fabrication will not be part of the Spanish contribution to CTF3. The resources will be transfer to the PETS task (to be confirmed). (Sept 06) Manufacturing drawings (Jan 07). SHORT TERM ACTIVITIES: CERN approval for manufacturing drawings. Manufacturing of the first prototype is about to start. CONCLUSION: First prototype mover could be tested in April. Delay about 5 months, but still on time for CTF3.

6. 30 GHz PETS MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING 2006: Design of an RF extractor (April-May 06) Contribution to the design of 30 GHz PETS (Jun-Sept 06). Prototype machining: o Two 400 mm long octant by EDM (July 06) o Two 40 mm long octants by milling (to be measured). SHORT TERM ACTIVITIES: Measure the short probes. Engineering design of the PETS assembly. The allocated resources for this task have been increased as the TBL quads will not be part of the Spanish contribution (to be confirmed). Overall conclusions Orbit dipole correctors are commissioned. Septa magnets are installed and powered. Some leaks in the thin septa blade. First stripline kicker is manufactured and ready to be tested. Pulsed power supply design and fabrication has started. TBL quad mover drawings have been produced and manufacturing of the first prototype will start soon. Some PETS parts have been produced. Engineering design of the PETS tank will begin in the coming months.
